Real Wedding: A Boho Country Wedding

Jen and Jerome celebrated their wedding in a bohemian country style affair. Jen & Jerome are both laid back and they wanted to incorporate that into their big day. They decided to have the wedding and reception at Avalon Legacy Ranch because the venue fit everything they were looking for – unique, casual, and earthy.

To compliment the earthy feel of the venue, Jen incorporated Bohemian touches by adding mismatched rugs down the aisle, gold terrariums on the farm tables, and custom macramé plant hangers at the reception.

The bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses that added to the bohemian vibe, each in varying shades of peach and coral. The groomsmen likewise wore mismatched suits. This created a truly lovely effect and was a refreshing change to the traditional wedding party. Speaking of wedding parties this one was HUGE with 25 people in total!

The bride wore a two pieced long sleeve wedding gown, that complimented her theme beautifully and was a fun take on the traditional gown.

We also can’t get enough of the smoke bomb photography the couple used. The technique creates a misty, surrealist like effect that almost looks like something out of a scary movie! This is a super cool idea and a great way to add a unique and creative flair to you’re wedding photos.
