Georges Hobeika’s Spring Summer 2018 Couture Collection

Paris Couture Week is currently in full swing and so far we have seen some truly breathtaking looks from some of the world’s best designers.

With our own Wedded Wonderland Fairy Nadia over in Paris enjoying the sights, we’ve been given a closer look into the world of haute couture (and we’re loving every minute of it). Our latest obsession is the Spring Summer 2018 Couture collection from Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika.

Drawing on inspiration from ancient Greece, the collection is a tribute to the richness of the culture and its endearing influence on the world – and fashion – today.

Emphasising femininity and natural beauty, Hobeika’s collection is a series of luxurious fabrics, sleek and voluptuous silhouettes, and colours and tones that bring to mind thoughts of ancient ceramics, bronze, and marble.

Hobeika channels mythological beauty with angel wing motifs and goddess-worthy wreaths made from laser-cut leather. The evocation of these mythical scenes are further enforced with striking earrings, diadems, gilded bracelets and more.

That’s enough from us. We’ll let these images do the talking.
