Awful news has emerged from the USA overnight, with multiple outlets reporting that former Destiny’s Child singer, LaTavia Robertson is fighting for life.

LaTavia is pregnant with her second bub, but the 34-year old has been rushed to hospital as a result of pregnancy-related complications.

This gorgeous songstress was one of the Destiny’s Child originals, part of the ‘Writing’s on the Wall’ album which included songs such as Bills, Bills, Bills and Say My Name and Jumpin’ Jumpin’ before she left the girl group to start her own, called Anjel. She starred in theatre productions including Not My Family and Those Jeans and has won two Grammy and three Soul Train Awards.

La Tavia already has one child with Producer Don Vitao and we’re sending our prayers that her next bub is born healthy.
