She has Greek roots, he has Italian roots, they met in Australia and tied the knot in beautiful Santorini!
Paree and Adrian crossed paths almost eight years ago and went out on their first impromptu ice-cream date a year later, where they spent the entire night talking and laughing uncontrollably, coming to realise they had so much in common.
“It wasn’t until the café closed their lights that we realised we had to leave. Before we knew it, we were getting ice cream every night,” Bride Paree happily told Wedded Wonderland.
Fast-forward to Adrian’s elaborate proposal last year where he popped the question on the last day of their holiday in Los Angeles.
“Of all the romantic dinner dates we went on, Adrian instead waited for a moment when I would least expect it. On the night he proposed we had just strolled down Santa Monica boardwalk and were ready to call it a night. We arrived at our hotel on Rodeo Drive but Adrian insisted we go for a stroll down the road. There was no one else in sight; just the two of us. We found a gorgeous lit up lane-way nearby and sat down on the bench right at the end, and it was here that Adrian got down on one knee asking me to marry him.” So sweet!
The couple held their white themed summer Wedding on the picturesque island of Santorini with uninterrupted views of volcanoes and the endless Aegean Sea, with many of their closest friends and families travelled to join in the celebrations.
“We can definitely agree that one of the most memorable moments of the night was when we walked into the reception as husband and wife. Words cannot describe how breathtakingly beautiful it was to see all of our guests dressed in white as the sun was setting over the endless views of the Aegean Sea,” the couple told Wedded Wonderland.
