New York real estate developer, and billionaire Jeff Sutton, married off his daughter with an outstanding $25 million dollar wedding – making it one of the most expensive thus far!
The challenge of a destination wedding can be getting all of your guests to pay for the flight, outfits, gifts and more! But for the Suttons, this was anything but a worry as they spent $5 million on three charter flights for guests from New York to Italy, while simultaneously booking a luxury five star resort valued at a minimum $500 a night – we presume being the 522nd richest man in the world, can win you the freedom to do so.
Jeff, who is valued at a whopping $3.6 billion, arrived at the venue today beside his daughter, Renee, in a horse drawn carriage. The extravagant event commenced under the watchful eye of 400 guests who arrived via chartered planes. A modern day choir resonated guests with romantic tunes while awaiting for the nuptials.
Renee Sutton and fiancé Eliot Cohen tied the knot with a traditional Jewish ceremony beneath what symbolised the creation of a new home – a chuppah. Celebrations continued over a four day period, beginning with the reception at a nearby beach complete with a dance floor, unlimited food and drinks, live musicians and 50 mini buses at guests’ exposal.
Some speculations however remained to be false, as Madonna, Ivanka Trump, Chelsea Clinton and celebrities alike did not attend the reception.
