He put a ring on it!
Beyoncé’s backup dancer, John Silver, popped the question to fellow dancer, Ashley Everett during a Queen Bey concert in St. Louis, mid-way through the performance of “Single Ladies” – of course!
Choreographer Ashley Everett was mid-move behind Beyoncé, when the singer suddenly stopped the music. “I think there’s somebody I’d like to bring on the stage,” Beyoncé said as the crowd roared.
Moments later, her backup dancer and the fiancé-to-be, John Silver, came on stage and took the mic. “She’s my queen, so I feel like it’s only right to come out here in my hometown,” Silver said to the audience, before getting down on one knee and proposing.
Beyoncé walked over to congratulate the happy couple, introducing “Mr. and Mrs. Silver” before the music started up again, “Let’s see if you can still do the choreography after that!” Beyonce laughed. And believe it or not, Everett didn’t miss a beat, getting right back into her dance routine!
This proposal is definitely up there with one of the most epic we’ve seen!
