The morning of Layla and Matthew’s Wedding began with an abundance of rain, but that didn’t stop them from having the most incredible day!
“It rained all day and luckily for me, I did not wear a white dress so the colour I had chosen was perfect for the day. My father escorted me out of the car and lead me to where my groom awaited. From there it all went so quickly – my father handing me over to my husband, saying our vows in the same church Matthew’s parents married in 32 years ago, first kiss as husband and wife to dancing outside in the rain with drums and the flute.”
Due to the weather the couple were limited in locations to take their Wedding photos, however they opted for Martin Place where they took some sensational photos! “We were all in good spirits- it was so fun! I would do it all over again, even in the rain.”
This was followed by an incredible reception which left the couple in awe. “The dance floor gave life to the room, it invited everyone to dance. “Matthew and I were in awe of our wedding reception, and for a Groom who is not Lebanese he made quite the entrance dancing with over 16 drums to Arabic and English music accompanied by the saxophone.”
