Clare and Florian’s love story began when they met on exchange in Flagstaff Arizona and were in a long distance relationship for over a year. To celebrate Flo’s graduation from university, Clare surprised him with a special lunch at Catalina Restaurant but little did she know, Flo had a surprise up his sleeve. He had booked a seaplane trip which took them to a secret beach with the beautiful Sydney Harbour as their backdrop and asked Clare if she would marry him!
Despite these love birds coming from two different parts of the world, one thing they could agree on was the location of the wedding! They wanted to show their international guests the natural beauty and breathtaking sites of the Southern Highlands in NSW. The location swept both Clare and Florian off their feet as they tied the knot and celebrated their special day at Jaspers Berry.
“Our wedding was intimate, international, emotional and filled with love. Even though we only had 73 guests, we had people travel from 12 different countries. We wanted to create an intimate weekend for everyone who came out, to get to know each other and celebrate our love.”
The wedding incorporated white flowers with touches of gold, creating a timeless feel to the occasion.
