Frank first met Alana at one of his infamous house parties he hosted with his brothers while his parents went away and it was the start of something special.
Frank popped the question to Alana in Tokyo as the two were rowing beneath the amazing cherry blossoms. Although Alana managed to get the boat stuck between the rocks, Frank suggested to take in the gorgeous scenery and this is where he decided to get down on one knee in the boat and asked her to marry him!
The couple went for an enchanted, secret garden theme for their wedding. Having their Tokyo proposal in the back of their minds it acted as the couple’s main inspiration for their wedding. They wanted to break the rules of having a traditional white wedding and went with a black colour scheme with hints of gold, grey, musky and pink hues. The couple wanted their wedding guests to feel as though they were entering another world and to capture that mystical element of their wedding. The large gold tiered candelabras added that magical touch to the day.
Being a graphic designer, the bride added her creative flare to the day as she designed the seating chart, bridal table skirting and all other personalised touches and styling elements to the wedding.
The father of the bride is a photographer and although it was hard not to photograph his own daughter’s wedding, he couldn’t help himself with a sneaky selfie as he was walking his daughter down the aisle, a moment everyone will never forget.
A beautiful wedding for a sweet couple!
Congratulations to Frank and Alana!
