A Symbolic Wedding Held At The Bride’s Family Farm

Colin got down on one knee on Simone’s birthday, blindfolded and brought her out to the front deck of their home where flower petals were scattered across the deck. While their favourite song was played, their dogs came out and had a special note attached to their collars which read “will you marry daddy?”

The couple’s wedding was held at Simone’s family farm which has been in her family for 122 years. The location of their wedding was extra special for Simone as it was the place where she grew up and where a lot of her family history remains.

Simone and Colin decided to go with a cocktail theme for their wedding with a burger and beer truck which was made by Colin’s brother, adding that unique factor to their special day.

The preparation leading up to the wedding is something Simone and Colin will never forget as it combined Simone’s family history, a significant venue and the love of so many around the couple that they will treasure forever.

The marquee was adorned with simple fairy lights creating a dreamy ambiance to the farm setting. The rustic yet modern simplicity of the couple’s wedding is something that brought a timeless and classic feel to their celebration.

One of the couple’s most memorable memories from the night was when a storm came through and everyone was under the marquee and danced until the storm passed. Who would have thought something that could have potentially ruined the day turned out to be one of the best highlights?

Congratulations Simone and Colin!
