A Micro Wedding At The Yarra Valley

Shannon and Kyle’s wedding day reached a level of boho-chic that we simply adore coming across!

“We chose to do a Micro Wedding as we wanted it to be super personal, we both are not big public speakers so we both wanted to feel 100% comfortable. This led us to having our immediate families on both sides and our absolute favourite people for the ceremony and early dinner… but – we do love a party! So, we threw a big “Meet the Lovats” celebration later that night. Our kiddies were included in the whole day up until the party.”

I would totally recommend getting married our way, 1,000 million times over! It didn’t feel stressed or rushed. We got to speak to everyone, we got to eat, drink and dance.”

Some advice – go with the flow. Control what you can and let the rest go. Do not stress the small stuff. At the end of the day, it is your day, think of the one thing that is truly important for that day!”

Shannon, Bride

Fairies, you’ll also be shocked to learn that Shannon made most of the party décor herself! The bride had always loved flowers and launched her own business; Posie Project. Since her wedding, Shannon has even been contacted by a few ladies and asked me to style their wedding!
