A Grand Floral Installation and A Veil Mishap

It’s often close to impossible to surprise Nicole, but somehow, Julian managed to give her the surprise of her life.

“I came home from work to find my house filled with all of my favourite things. Candles and flowers covered the room and there was a sign saying, ‘Marry Me Nic’. Julian then came into the room, pulled out a ring, dropped to one knee, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. I cried so much. It was just perfect.”

On their wedding day, Nicole decided to return back the favour to Julian and give him a little surprise of his own.

“On the morning of the wedding, he was handed a box with a card. He was confused at first, but when he read the card he realised that I’d done something shifty and laughed. I had bought him the Gucci watch that he had been eyeing for a while and he was so shocked. Thankfully, I had coordinated with the photographers to capture the moment. It was brilliant!”

With a white, gold and black theme, Nicole and Julian created a modern luxe wedding that had a warm feel and a touch of romance. Even though they were after something timeless and elegant, they still wanted a modern wedding.

“We complimented the reception room by filling it with lush greens and vibrant white florals. Our florists did an immaculate job with everything, from the impressive floral installation over the dance floor, to the floral arrangements that were draped over the welcome sign and seating chart. Julian and I were completely floored when we first walked in. Our vision had come to life and it was perfect.”

Throughout the night, the dance floor remained filled, with a mix of English and Greek music to entertain the guests. For the send-off, the couple created personalised sparklers and matches for the guests to use.

Although their wedding was absolutely perfect, there was one hiccup that Nicole will remember forever.

“As Julian and I were walking down the aisle, I was pulled back by my veil! My dear friend was so caught up in taking photos of us, that she didn’t realise she had stood on my veil. We laughed so hard, but the poor thing was mortified. It did make for some great photos though!”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
