Katherine and Ming had been together for 7 years and it was during a mini getaway trip to Sydney where Ming went down on one knee, asking Katherine to spend the rest of her life with him.
The couple’s wedding was a simple and elegant party style celebration with their closest family and friends. The couple featured a combi van for their bridal party, an ice cream cart straight after the ceremony and confetti was a main feature throughout Katherine and Ming’s wedding!
Katherine and Ming handmade their wedding favours and designed their own welcome sign and seating chart. The wedding cake was made by the bride herself as well as the wishing well for their wedding guests.
The bride wore two gorgeous bridal gowns, the first one a gorgeous full lace red gown for the couple’s traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the morning, followed by a white lace gown and gorgeous veil.
“I found my dress very early on after trying on dress after dress I finally came across a gorgeous Sottero and Midgley mermaid style dress with a beautiful veil. I fell in love with it immediately and knew that it was the one,” explains the bride.
Congratulations to Katherine and Ming!
