Not many weddings start off with two proposals. Most, but not Tasia and Ashley’s.
Having planned a scavenger hunt which ended at the beach where they had their first date, Tasia asked Ashley to marry her. It was only a few weeks later that Ashley returned the favour, using hundreds of tea lights to spell out “Marry Me Too?”
The wedding was a heavenly combination of ivory, champagne, gold and blush tones, tying in perfectly with the modern day fairytale theme.
It was all brought to life with a horse and carriage, an all-female string quartet, and a reception held inside a glass atrium that was filled with real trees, flowers and a fountain to give the illusion of an outdoor garden wedding.
With their friends and family gathered around them, Tasia and Ashley asked them to join in their vow to love, support and honour their marriage, and had their guests say “We do” together.
