A Dreamy Wedding at Villa Rustica

Annaliese & Dean’s dreamy Byron Bay Hinterland Wedding was filled with exotic backdrops, fusions of the rustic and modern, and an incredible pink wedding dress by Rachel Gilbert.

“Villa Rustica is nestled in the tropical gardens of Byron Hinterland, with just 20 of their nearest and dearest. With a Moroccan-styled courtyard, swimming pool and lush gardens, this venue is a photographer’s playground!
Their intimate ceremony took place in the charming courtyard at the heart of the venue. When it comes to ceremony styling at Villa Rustica, less is so much more. The contrast of Annaliese’s pink wedding dress and Dean’s white and ivory suit against the faded brick is all that was needed to create the perfect backdrop.
The bridesmaids wore three different dresses in the colours, white, salmon and burnt orange, a trio made in heaven. Carrying bouquets of pink tulips, purple orchids, greenery and pampas grass by The French Petal, added to the contrast of colours.
The most stylish part of Annaliese and Dean’s charming wedding day, was the Reception. Elope brought a fusion of the rustic and the modern to life. In the pavilion, stood one long table dressed in white linen and lined with bamboo chairs. It was set with lavish gold cutlery, crystal wine glasses, ivory coloured plates and white linen napkins adorned with white and gold foil name cards. For the centrepiece, vases of pink orchids and lush greenery with gold taper candle holders and acrylic menus.
The party enjoyed an all-vegan long lunch, designed by The Fig Tree Byron Bay, followed by the cutting of their pink, raw berry wedding cake!”
