6 things that every guest will remember about your Wedding

Let’s be honest, despite the fact you’ve spent hours creating perfect symmetry with the table centrepieces and although you’ve paid extra to have an extra dollop of vanilla in the Wedding cake batter, the guests at your Wedding probably aren’t going to notice.

So, we’ve narrowed down the six things you should be focusing your time and money on… because these are the things that your guests will remember and talk about for years to come!

1. I’m Seated… Here?

Organising the seating plan is notoriously stressful for good reason. Guests will always remember where you seated them and how good the company was on the night. So, spend some time making sure you get it right!

2. Blah, Blah, Blah

Speeches are scrutinised at every Wedding. Guests appreciate speeches that are sincere, funny, short and sweet and without too many inside jokes… Try not to shock your grandparents with the content of the speech (was that some sexual innuendo-shock, horror?)

3. Out Of Tune

Whoever is controlling music at your Wedding must be on their A-Game. Good music = Good vibes. Bad music = “when is it appropriate to make an escape?”

4. Here Comes the Bride

Realistically speaking, from the very moment you step onto the aisle, every woman invited to your Wedding will have her eyes on every detail of your gown… so give ‘em a good look!

5. Bad Food = Bad Mood

If your food leaves a bad taste in guests’ mouths, you can guarantee they won’t forget it. Make sure the meals are delicious and hearty because the last thing you want is for your guests to have to get drive through takeaway on the way home!

6. DecoRATE it a 10!

A guest’s first instinct is to look at their surroundings so it’s important that the décor is absolutely fabulous. Give your guests something to ooh and aah over when they’re at the reception, when they’re leaving the reception and when they reminisce about the reception!
