So, you’re getting married and haven’t decided what to do. As a couple, you’re the perfect example of opposites attract. Maybe you have a strong affinity for The Little Mermaid and your partner is an adventure-seeker looking for the next thrill. Or maybe you’re both looking for something that breaks the wedding mould.
Luckily, The Hôtel Métropole in Monte-Carlo have decided offer couples a non-traditional option and reintroduce their unique Underwater Wedding Package.

That’s right. Guided by quadruple World Champion in Free Immersion, Pierre Frolla, couples can have the “experience of a lifetime” in the Mediterranean Sea. The underwater ceremony comes complete with an altar and a wedding-themed diving suit – a tuxedo, bowtie, and top hat for grooms and a white neoprene wetsuit gown with a rose for the brides’ hair.
Guests can even watch the underwater ceremony from the seabed, fully equipped with wetsuits, diving gear, and the supervision of certified instructors.
Once the watery nuptials have taken place, the celebrations are moved to the beach, where couples and guests can enjoy lunch and cocktails.

Not just exclusive to weddings, the hotel also offers proposal packages, which also includes champagne and canapés on the beach.
Packages start at around AUD$1,865 and can be personalised to suit your budget and needs. The event is also filmed and ready for viewing only a few hours later.
So, if you’re looking for a truly unique wedding, head over to The Hôtel Métropole and lock in your watery dates.
