Congratulations are in order for Yasmine Kenawi and Mostafa Abdelaziz, who got wedded in the first week of December 2024! The multi-day affair was a lavish celebration of love, taking place in the bride’s home country of Egypt.
This wedding is going down in our books as a prime exemplar of flawless bridal style, which comes as no surprise given that Yasmine is a stylist for the stars. She has styled some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Anne Hathaway, Mark Ruffalo, Adraian Lima, and Kate Upton. Her taste truly shone all throughout her wedding week as she wore a total of four stunning bridal looks!
A Butterfly-Themed Bridesmaids Brunch
To kick off the festivities, Yasmine and her bridesmaids got together for the cutest butterfly-themed brunch that totally lived up to the motif! The bride was a vision in a mini halter dress by Egyptian designer Maram. The perfect balance of coquette and glam details has us swooning!
The Katb Ketab
On the 3rd of December, the couple held their katb ketab, an intimate ceremony involving the signing of the marriage contract before the big celebration. The meaningful affair featured minimalist decor: champagne-toned drapes a mix of candles, and classy signage.
Yasmine was every bit the blooming bride in a sleek gown by renowned Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika. The ethereally elegant wedding dress makes a strong case for a relaxed, shawl-type portrait neckline and a plunging back, complete with a sweet bow detail. The impeccably draped bodice flowed into a long skirt with a high slit. So chic!
A Grand Affair at the Mohamed Ali Palace
The grand halls of Mohamed Ali Palace in Cairo served as the venue for the luxe wedding of Yasmine and Mostafa. Wedding planner Dina Iskander brought the lavish theme to life, infusing the regal space with deep shades of green, burgundy, and violet. An abundance of candlelight gave the space the most otherworldly glow. All in all, the celebration exuded the nostalgic beauty of historic weddings among royalty!
The Wedding Gown
Syrian designer Elias Riga demonstrated sheer artistry on the magnificent wedding gown of Yasmine Kenawi. The showstopper boasted a modern fit-and-flair silhouette with elaborate waist draping that extended like rays from the center of the gown. Intricate off-the-shoulder ruffles transformed the classic sweetheart neckline. Paired with a handcrafted veil that took seven days to design and two whole days to produce, the resulting bridal look was a fashion phenomenon that fully embodied romance and stellar craftsmanship.
The gown was transformed for the cake-cutting. The skirt remained as the regal ceremony corset was swapped out for a sleeker and subtler piece. Sheer sleeves reminiscent of gloves were also added for a modern touch.
The Afterparty Gown
For the afterparty, Yasmine wore a Great Gatsby-inspired gown also by Elias Riga. The bejeweled halter gown featured a high slit, dangling gems and beads, and was styled with oversized puff sleeves and a long, dramatic train.
