To wedding and event businesses,
I’ve been thinking a lot about where we are right now, and where we’re heading.
Because the truth is: the wedding industry is changing. Not in a dramatic, headline way.
But in a quiet, steady, undeniable way that’s already showing up in your inbox, your enquiry volume, your pricing conversations, and the types of couples you’re attracting.
Costs are rising. Decision-making is slowing. Couples are more informed than ever, and more overwhelmed than ever.
And at the same time, the expectations placed on wedding businesses have never been higher.
We’re being asked to deliver more creativity, more speed, more emotional labour, more flexibility, and more perfection, often with tighter margins and less certainty.
So I want to say this clearly:
If you’ve felt the shift, you’re not imagining it. And you’re not alone.
But I also want to say something else, something important: Weddings are not disappearing.
They’re evolving.
Couples still want beauty. They still want meaning. They still want celebration. But they are spending differently, prioritising differently, and choosing differently.
And the businesses that will thrive in 2026 and beyond won’t be the ones who post the most or discount the fastest.
They’ll be the ones who are positioned with clarity.
The ones who communicate their value with confidence. The ones who build trust, partnerships, and authority. The ones who understand how consumer psychology is shifting, and adapt early.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join us on Feb 25 for State of the Wedding Industry.
Not as another panel. Not as another networking night.
But as a (online) room full of real conversations, real insight, and real strategy, for wedding business owners who want to stay ahead of what’s changing, hosted by yours truly.
If you run a wedding business and you want clarity on:
…then I truly believe you should be in this room.
Seats are limited, not because it sounds exclusive, but because I want the room to feel intentional, supportive, and genuinely valuable for every business attending.
And yes, your ticket includes a 1-year subscription to Wedded Pro.
If this resonates, I’d love to see you there.
