Trending in hair at NYFW: Aussie beach vibes

Renowned hairstylist Renya Xydis teamed up with iconic Australian fashion label Zimmermann to create the hair look for their show at New York Fashion Week, and it’s exactly how you’ll be wearing your hair this Spring/Summer season.

To complement Zimmermann’s Wavelength collection (side note, we want every dress in the range), Renya created the ultimate Aussie beach look by styling the hair in a loose, beachy wave and finishing it off with a matte texture.

“This style is true to my heart and very Australia. I know it’s something wearable, cool and sexy and echoes the vibrancy of the Wavelength collection,” Renya said of the hairstyles she created with Wella.

Zimmermann’s Wavelength collection is inspired by the excitement of summer as a child in the 60s and 70s, with vibrant hues burnt oranges and citruses, to seafoam green, aqua and magentas.
