Trend prediction: 5 ways to include feathers into your Wedding

If we had to call it now, we’d say that feathers are going to be one of the biggest trends of 2017 (you heard it here first, Fairies)! So, whether you prefer large, statement feathers, or smaller, delicate ones, here are five ways you can incorporate them into your Wedding day!

1. Your Wedding Dress

Designers have taken their cue and already started to incorporate feathers into their latest collections. Whether it’s been added to the sleeves, skirts or trains of the gowns, feathers add an extra oomph of elegance to your Bridal look!

2. Your Bouquet

Feathers are a great feature when you mix them with fresh flowers – a perfect combo of structure, texture and romance. The best bit? You can choose whatever coloured feathers you like to tie into your colour scheme!

3. Your Shoes

If you want to add a subtle touch of feathers to your outfit, then go with your shoes.

4. The Reception Décor

The best thing about using feathers in your reception décor is you can do whatever you like! If you want something more classic use the feathers as a centrepiece for your guest tables, whereas if you want something a bit more magical, have feathers hanging from the ceiling for that extra glam feel!

5. Wedding Cake

Your Wedding cake is one of the show-stopping parts of your Wedding, so obviously you’ll want it to have some ‘wow’ factor. You can either have real feathers or delicious fondant feathers which are as pretty as they are tasty!
