Although we may never have the Friends reboot that we all so desperately crave, at least we know the legacy continues in the form of an adorable group chat between Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow.
Cox and Kudrow told US Weekly that the three of them keep in touch via a “text chain” – that comment alone makes us feel like we never left the 90s.
“Lisa, Jennifer and I all have a text chain, but to me it’s too much pressure,” Cox said. “I’m not in the group text chain. I really don’t like it!”
“And then you have something funny to say but then you send the text and they don’t get it,” Cox continued.
Kudrow told Entertainment Tonight, “Oh, yeah we have one. The girls do. There has been one with the full case from time to time, trying to work out a dinner. But that’s a lot of pressure.”
So, basically, Monica, Pheobe and Rachel all text each other jokes, goss, maybe memes and hopefully throw shade, just like we all do in our group chats.
We’re hoping for a sneak peek at the trio’s “text chain” and hope it includes some sort of reference to “PIVOT!”
It’s a comforting thought knowing that they’re all still in touch and have remained tight-knit ever since the iconic hit TV series ended in 2004.
