THE 5 FLORAL TRENDS YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS SEASON FOR YOUR WEDDING

Florals are an important aspect of any Wedding, but this season, flower power has taken hold stronger than ever before.

Say goodbye to traditional whites and say hello to the quirkiest and most extravagant floral trends that will create unforgettable moments throughout your Big Day!

Out with the old, in with the bold, these are the predictions for this season’s greatest blooms.

1. More is More

Whether it be statement centrepieces on each guest table, or hanging wild blooms for an earthy romantic backdrop, dramatic extravagance is the key. The most awe-inspiring wedding receptions will be featuring giant cascading blooms hung above the dance floor. The bigger, the braver, the better!

2. Rustic Returns

Let’s be real here, the rustic vintage trend is going nowhere. It took the Wedding world by storm last year, but it is set to stay around until the foreseeable future. Light pink roses adorned with white peonies is a great way to modernise this look and soft blush hues will always reign supreme in the floral kingdom. Add some timber and twine and you’ll be the most boho-chic Bride of the year.

3. Modern Muse

We’ve seen the classic floral look many times before, so this season, Brides are opting to be bold. We’re talking bright, edgy hanging sunflowers, dahlias and posies interwoven with foliage. If you want to take this modern trend to the next level, go asymmetrical with arches, centrepieces and hanging displays – it adds that extra effortless quirk!

4. Go Green

Green is the colour of the season with bouquets sporting ferns, moss, thistle and bromeliads. This looks creates an earthy, tropical feel to the Big Day and is also a great cost-effective option for Brides on a tight budget.

5. Fruitful Flowers

This is a relatively new option for forward-thinking Brides – fruit bouquets! Brides are using whole fruits and vegetables in their arrangements and not only does it look great, but it’s a fantastic sustainable option (you can eat the fruit later).
