Chic Second Dresses from Influencer Brides

To fashionable brides, a second dress is basically a necessity. After enjoying the incomparable glow of wearing a ceremony gown, you’ll find that your special day is still far from over—you’ll have to get all dolled up anew in yet another ensemble to party the night away!

While traditional wedding dresses are longer and more voluminous, second dresses are typically shorter, flaunt more embellishments and modern flair, and showcase a lot of the bride’s personality. To see what we mean, read on below for some of our favorite reception looks or second dresses from influencer brides. You might just fall in love with one of these examples and get ideas for your own afterparty outfit!

Tammy Hembrow in Vivienne Westwood and Karla Gil

Though her unforgettable wedding gown was in a striking blush shade, Tammy Hembrow opted for classic white gowns for her second and third dresses of the day. For her after-ceremomy banquet, the fitness influencer donned the sleek Camille gown by Vivienne Westwood, noting that she still wanted to have her “white gown moment.”

Her third and final look was a lively number by Karla Gil. The mini dress boasted Chantilly lace details, a corset-inspired bodice, a dainty off-shoulder neckline, and a long Georgette side train.

Alex Cooper in Alexander McQueen and Gianni Versace

Influencer and podcaster Alex Cooper and Matt Kaplan tied the knot in the most picturesque wedding along the Mexican coastline. The Call Her Daddy host likewise strayed from the usual white motif and went with two reception dresses in warm sandy tones. The first was a fluid silk chiffon corset dress from the spring 2003 Alexander McQueen “Irene” collection with the loveliest scarf detail. Next, she changed into a spring 1995 Gianni Versace ecru lace-up corset top and custom skirt. She looked so elegant!
