Green eyed Italian beauty Christina and Indian fiancé Abhinav had a busier wedding day than your average couple. Their day began with a romantic garden ceremony held at Curzon Hall’s Garden Chateau witnessed by the couple’s closest family and friends.
Christina’s childhood dream was fulfilled when she wore a custom-made Peretti white ball gown with the couple’s initials sewn in Swarovski crystals on the train of her dress. Once the formalities were done and dusted and their official wedding pictures taken with Sydney’s iconic harbor in the background, the couple were then whisked away by their families for the second part of their special day. As Abhinav stems from an Indian background it was now time for his colourful and exuberant culture to take center stage.
Their Indian Hindu ceremony began with Christina having henna applied to her hands and arms and adorned in lavish jewellery and the lehenga – traditional Indian dress.
However, the moment we absolutely fell in love with and believe captured the essence of the day, was the moment the groom made his grand exit from his home on a white horse both covered in gold and red embellished jewels and red velvet accents escorted by his family dancing and celebrating in his path.
The couple arrived at their Hindu ceremony which went off with a bang as fireworks, live music and cheering guests greeted them to get the party started. The Bhangra All Stars performers, also known as the Punjabi heroes of Sydney performed and transformed their ceremony into scenes remnant of a Bollywood film which had guest dancing the night away.
From the colours to the details as well as outfit changes, this is one wedding which ticked all the right boxes.
