Prepare yourselves as the newly appointed Duke and Duchess of Sussex are heading to Australia. The couple will be going on their first official royal tour later this year.
Prince Harry and wife, Meghan Markle will be going on a tour where they will visit Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand. Their tour to Australia will fall on the same time as the Invictus Games in Sydney.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has made an announcement welcoming the newlyweds to Australia.
“As the founder of the Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex has become a champion for war veterans around the world, including in Australia. His attending, alongside the Duchess of Sussex, will be a wonderful highlight for the more than 500 competitors and thousands of spectators. Lucy and I look forward to hosting their visit and watching the remarkable feats of Invictus athletes around the world.”
The couple has just recently returned from their honeymoon, just in time to attend The Queen’s birthday parade.
