Danielle And Paul’s Beautiful Sunset Wedding

Danielle and Paul celebrated a unique, picturesque and elegant wedding in early February. The Melbourne couple celebrated with their dearest at a newly built location, with all the bliss of a sunset creating the perfect backdrop for them.

The Proposal

Fast forward 5 years and Paul proposed to Danielle in the most meaningful way on Squeaky beach, Wilson’s prom. It was his 29th birthday! Keeping Danielle’s Disney obsession in mind, Paul had buried a brass genie lamp (very much like the one from Aladdin) and had hand made a scroll inside the lamp asking her to marry him. Aaaah… Too cute!

Danielle could not believe her eyes while it was happening, she thought for sure she was dreaming. Danielle remembers pinching herself & it not hurting, that’s how sure she was that the moment wasn’t real.

The Wedding

Her favourite moment of her wedding was definitely arriving at the church, walking up to the doors knowing that in a few moments she’d be standing face to face with her now-husband. A feeling so hard to describe, Danielle thinks only the brides reading this will know how special that moment is!

For the night, a highlight moment was the sunset over Levantine hill, Danielle and Paul were outside taking their portraits and noticed nearly every single guest was also outside, soaking in this golden opportunity to take sunset photos. Having never been to see their venue during the nighttime (only day visits) it was a wonderful surprise to see just how beautiful it was as the sunset over the rolling Yarra valley hills. So very picturesque…

Advice from the Bride

“During the lead-up, if I could go back in time & tell myself to trust my gut and do what I feel in my heart, not to be so indecisive over the small things and not to be so scared of being different. I remember feeling worried that people would think my dress was weird, or that they would laugh at me for wearing gloves. But now that the day is done, I wish I hadn’t worried so much beforehand because I absolutely loved everything about it and wouldn’t change a thing.”

Be inspired, Fairies!
