This Bride Wore Princess Diana’s Iconic Tiara

When Lady Diana Spencer married into the Royal Family on that Wednesday in July, 1981, the whole world had their eyes glued to every little detail, and that glittering tiara she wore was no exception. The Spencer Tiara is Diana’s family heirloom which has been around for a very long time, we’re talking Tudor time, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.

The Tiara has been worn by all of Diana’s sisters on their wedding day, and it only seemed fitting that Diana’s niece, Celia McCorquodale, wore it at her wedding to George Woodhouse this Saturday.

Celia looked beautiful in her gown, and the tiara perfectly completed her graceful look. To finish it off, the bride wore a cute pair of drop earrings; small and subtle, but still stunning.

Only a few weeks past their own wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan joined Celia in celebrating her big day. Meghan wore an Oscar de la Renta dress, which Harry even matched his tie to. Couples who colour coordinate together, stay together, right?
