With the announcement of baby #2 today on Instagram with a candid photo showing off an obvious baby bump, Academy Award winning actress and activist Anne Hathaway, opened up about her own struggles with conceiving.

She and husband Adam Shulman had their first child, Jonathan Rosebanks, in March of 2016, which she has admitted was also a difficult conception for the couple.

She offered words of wisdom and support on Instagram in stating that “for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love.”

This announcement comes as a surprise considering how private Hathaway generally is, especially in regards to her family. In fact, she’s described herself as a “decent liar” in an interview with James Cordon following the birth of her son, managing to deceive the general public and debunk rumours until late into the pregnancy.

Hopefully, the Princess Diaries star will choose to share more this time around because we definitely​ can’t wait to find out if we’re welcoming a new Prince or Princess into the world!
