The red carpet was rolled out once again for the Brownlow Medal and this year’s event was truly remarkable. Few could have predicted it, but this year’s red carpet was perfectly tame – not a single sequined bralette in sight. What did ensue was a gorgeous array of sparkles, millennial pink and baby bumps! Tis the season for expecting mothers donning the red carpet looking downright glamorous and we absolutely love it.
Held at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne the night celebrates the ‘fairest and best” player in the Australian Football League and the winner of the Brownlow medal. But it is the partners of these sportsmen that definitely steal the show.
For those that missed all the action here are a few of our favourite looks from the night.
Jessie Murphy
Possibly one of the best of the night, Murphy adorned her baby bump in a glittering silver number by Oglia Loro Couture.
Alex Davis and Sarah Roughead
Dressing her burgeoning baby bump in a One Day Bridal wedding dress Roughead rocked the red carpet. Alex Davis also opted for a stunning white embellished gown. Soon-to-be brides take note!
Ana Calle
This multi-tiered wonder is a delight to behold. A Con Ilio design this dress has us feeling some modern day vibes, with an ombre of white to brilliant violet.
Isabella Carlstorm and partner Moana Hope
Carlstorm donned another gorgeous creation by Con Ilio embracing a very fairytale vibe with a hint of pink. Hope took a note from menswear and wore an amazing tailored suit.
Mardi Dangerfield
Pink is definitely the colour of the season with an array of soft pastels and bold pinks sashaying down the red carpet and we loved it! Looking beautifully feminine Dangerfield opted for the palest of pinks.
Natalie Cini and Sam Lane
Adopting a bolder pink both Cini turned heads in this pink gown. We love the structural yet feminine look to this dress.
Kate Lawrence and Annabel Gray
And yet another baby bump spotted on the red carpet, Gray opted for a smokey shade of pink. While Lawrence chose a lace pink number.
Rachael Finch
Still playing within the pink colour family, Brownlow host Finch made a brave move in this ultra-feminine gown.
Jordan Ablett accompanying husband Gary Ablett
Rocking none other than J’aton, Jordan stunned in this structural creation. She paired her dress with glamorous Hollywood waves and neutral makeup.
Jerri Jones and Heidi Higgins
Right on trend these two wore form-fitting lace gown and styled their dresses with muted hair and makeup looks.
Adelle Boglis and Kahlia Ashton
These two dressed to the nines in a refreshing shade of teal blue. Boglis in Jason Grech dress and Ashton in yet another Oglia Loro Couture gown.
Belinda Sloane
In the most daring dress of the evening, Sloane rocked the oversized one-shoulder Cappellazzo Couture dress.
