Now that is something you don’t hear of everyday!
This Tennessee bride needed a flower girl for her wedding and just knew the perfect ladies who would fit the job perfectly!
Newlyweds Lyndsey and Tanner Raby decided the day would be even more special if they had their four grandmothers and great-grandmother to be part of the bridal party.
“I knew as soon as I was engaged, I wanted to involve my grandmothers” the bride explained. “I felt so blessed to have them all her, so I wanted them to be involved too.”
The bride recalls how her flower women were absolutely over the moon and ecstatic to be part of the wedding. “They were more excited than my bridesmaids,” stated Lyndsey.
The flower women included Tanner’s grandmother, Joyce Raby, 70; Lyndsey’s two grandmothers, Betty Brown, 72 and Wanda Grant 76 as well as her 90 year old great-grandmother, Kathleen Brown.
The photographer behind these touching photographs Natalie Caho captured her Instagram post to a T; “I’ve seen a lot of cute flower girls in my day, but these four gals take the cake”.
And we couldn’t agree more!
“Most girls are lucky to even have one grandmother present,” Caho states. “The fact that Lyndsey had four was a big deal that she wanted to savour”.
What an incredible wedding and a beautiful way to honour those special ladies in both Lyndsey and Tanner’s lives.
Congratulations to the sweet couple!
