“We met at her work. She worked at a climbing gym and I was a customer.”
When Scott decided it was time to propose to Helen, he knew he had to be as creative as possible.
Intricate planning went into this proposal as Scott wrote “riddle-clues that led to several locations,” each holding significant meaning to the couple.
“The first clue led us to where we had our third date and the next clue led us to where we had our second date,” Scott told us. “The third clue took us to the restaurant we had our first date in.”
Enjoying lunch in a private room of the restaurant, the scavenger hunt was far from over. A helpful waiter gave Helen the final clue which led the couple to the Baxter Inn – the place they both officially “saw” each other.
With her favourite song playing in the background and the whole bar to themselves, Scott proposed to Helen with a pear-shaped, double halo ring – the exact ring she had hoped for.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
