A Hawaiian Proposal And Timeless Wedding With A Grand Flower Wall

When Michael and Maryiam first met as kids, their friendship blossomed into something they never expected. Once these high school sweethearts fell in love, there was no going back.

While on a family vacation to Hawaii, Michael organised a romantic set-up on a beach in Waikiki, and proposed to Maryiam at sunset.

“It was magic in every way. He even hired a guitarist to play our favourite songs for us.”

Working with wedding planner Sara Besharati, Maryiam’s wedding was everything she could have wanted.

“I actually changed my vision multiple times during the planning process. I think I changed my flower colours at least five times until I finally decided on what I wanted.”

To create a grand, timeless and elegant look, Maryiam made sure to cover the entire ballroom in a white carpet. As for the flowers, she had her floral designer to thank.

“Rather than having just stands of flowers next to us, I had wanted something different. My floral designer, from Bloom Box Designs, suggested we do a beautiful wall of flowers and I agreed right away. I knew that would become the highlight of the room!”

Although the partying was spectacular, Maryiam was surprised when she found the ceremony to be her most memorable moment of the wedding.

“The ceremony ended up being a moment where Michael and I were able to zone out everything going on around us and truly indulge in the commitment we were about to make.”
