A Festive Wedding With Alpacas At The Grounds

This couple’s love story began 7 years ago when Jorge was holidaying in Sydney and since then, the two were inseparable.

Jorge got down on one knee and asked Ara to marry him in Paris, under the beautiful Eiffel Tower at night.

The theme of the couple’s wedding was a fun, bold and colourful fiesta which celebrated the couple’s beautiful and diverse cultures held at The Grounds of Alexandra. The couple decided that their wedding was going to be a celebration of their love story, and infused their South American and Peruvian cultures through the decorations and wedding stationery.

The couple tied in DIY details which were designed by the bride as well as cultural elements, including Peruvian textiles for napkins which the couple travelled to Peru to collect, giving their wedding a flair of originality, making it personal and authentic to their cultural roots.

Ara’s favourite moment of the day was hands down when she was walking down the aisle to meet the man of her dreams. “Walking down the aisle, seeing all the decorations come to life, our loved ones, and Jorge waiting for me at the end”.

The couple’s wedding was small and intimate however, they were surrounded by their family and friends who travelled from overseas to join them on this memorable day.

Congratulations to Ara and Jorge!
