A Christmas Lovers Dream Wedding

It was during an ‘unplanned’ walk through the park and on a little bench just outside of The Grove restaurant where Joshua popped the big question to Kate.

“We’ve made several life decisions on that bench and it was so fitting that as soon as we passed it, Joshua began talking about forever and got down on one knee for me. It was perfect!”

For the wedding, there weren’t any shortages of special moments. From the ceremony being officiated by Joshua’s father and written specifically for the couple, to the Scottish tartan Kate’s mum made to honour the groom’s Scottish heritage, and the family heirloom jewellery that Kate chose to wear, the wedding was nothing short of being spectacularly sentimental.

“I’m a huge Christmas lover, so we had everything tied around the Christmas season. There were lots of green and burgundy velvet with touches of gold and candlelight. My uncle Tim also surprised us by dressing up as Santa Claus for the ceremony and having a special dance with me. It was so cute and fun.”

For the couple’s exit, a bagpiper led them out of the reception with a snow blower raining down white snow, creating a truly magical end to an incredible night.

Congratulations to Kate and Joshua!
