It’s the modern-day dilemma that faces most single gals – you’ve met a great guy, you exchange numbers and sometimes a sneaky kiss (or two). You start dating, but you’re not 100% sure he’s as into you as you are to him.
So, how can you tell whether he’s crushing on you, or whether you’re just a booty call?
Here are seven signs you should say goodbye to BAE… asap!
1. You don’t spend time ‘dating’
If you find that the majority of your time spent together is in his bedroom, it’s a sure-fire sign that he’s not that into you. If he likes you, he’ll spend more time taking you out and talking to you, instead of kissing you.

2. You’re a stranger
Haven’t been introduced to any friends or family? Proceed with caution. A guy who can see a future with you won’t be afraid to take you along to dinner with his mates.
3. The talk
Do you talk to each other about your future together? If you haven’t discussed what you’ll be doing next year, let alone next month, it could be a sign he’s not committed. If you’re worried, suggest that the two of you book a holiday together for later in the year and check his reaction.
4. The late-night text
Unless there’s a good reason (ie. shift workers), if he’s only texting or calling you between 10pm and 3am, you’re the definition of a booty-call.
5. Hug it out
Is there a whole lot of kissing, but not much in the way of cuddling? Showing you affection is important in a relationship, so if he doesn’t, it’s time to leave!
6. AWOL
Does he disappear from the radar for days, sometimes weeks at a time? And then, just when you’re ready to call it quits, he suddenly appears again and showers you with text messages? Your man could be playing with your heart… tread carefully.
7. The tech-shy boyfie
If your man never leaves you with his mobile phone and is overly protective of it, it could be a sign that he’s texting or calling other girls. Booty call bye-bye!
