6 Ways To Say Thank You To Your Bridal Squad

June 8th is National Best Friends Day, and boy are we are stoked. There’s no one quite like your girlfriends, and there’s a reason why they deserve to be celebrated. They’re there for all your highs and lows, the ones you’d call whenever you need to have a rant about your man or the support you need for all your petty arguments. They’re pretty much your number one.

Choosing your bridal party is one way to cement your squad and let them know how important they are to you. If they’ve made the cut for your special day, then they’re clearly your ride or die. So today, on this national holiday, we’ve put together a list of ways you can treat them right and let them know just how much they mean to you.

Let’s first take a look at the lead-up to the wedding. With all the stress building up, and the spotlight constantly being on you, here all the things you can do to spread the love.

1. Propose To Your Bridesmaids

It might sound weird, but asking your girlfriends to be your bridesmaids with a gift in hand is super sweet, and something they’d really appreciate. You can go for a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear on your wedding day, and bonus points if it’s personalised to the individual and something they can wear in the long run.

2. Organise A Brunch

If not all of your bridesmaids are friends, inviting them all out for brunch is a great way to introduce them and give them a chance to get to know each other. They’ll be spending a lot of time together in the lead up to your wedding, so doing this will help them feel so much more comfortable.

3. Have A Spa Day

Look, everyone loves a good spa day, and doing it in the name of your bridesmaids is the perfect excuse. It gives space for even more bonding, but also helps everyone relax in the midst of all the wedding stress. This is perfect for those of you who are hopeless gift-givers. Simple, yet effective.

4. Pamper Away

Depending on how much you’ve asked of your bridesmaids, chances are they’ve got a lot on their plate. In that case, win their hearts over by pampering away. Gift them a set of silk pyjamas, personalised stationary or even a monogrammed make-up bag. There are so many options to choose from, so get creative!

5. Surprise Them With A Gift

You’ve taken care of your bridesmaids in the lead-up to your wedding, and now there are a few more things to do. Of course, this day is all about you, but it wouldn’t hurt to show them one last time how much you appreciate them. Why not put together a gift box filled with a scented candle, nail polish, and bridesmaids robes with their names stitched onto the back. You can even change things around depending on your bridesmaid. Try swapping the candle for a book you know they’ll love.

6. Make A Toast

Although bridesmaids don’t usually give speeches on their wedding day, more and more women have been doing it. If it’s your sort of thing, take a moment to raise your glass to your bridesmaids and all the hard work they’ve put in for you. A round of applause for your dream squad sounds like the perfect end to us.
